Liebe Studis,

Dear third semester and interested students,

in order to help you choose a specialization for the fourth semester, we offer an informative event on the different majors together with the faculty and the specialization coordinators.

It will take place on 22.01. from 16:30 -18:30 in Aula 2, Ahornstr. 55.

There will be a short impulse lecture of different professors with subsequent exchange and additional poster stands where you can inform yourself.

In addition, the majority of the different institutes offer guided tours from 23.01.-01.02. where you will get a closer insight into current research and have the opportunity to talk to the staff in smaller groups. Registration forms will be available at the information event. After the event, registration for the remaining places will be possible by e-mail to fset@rwth-aachen.de.

Dear Students!
On the 14th of December the annual day of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology takes place in Aula2 (starting at 9 AM)

The day of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology is the “celebration day” of our faculty.
All staff, students and members of the faculty are cordially invited!

After the official welcoming speeches from our Dean Professor Jens-Rainer Ohm as well as RWTH Aachen’s Rector Professor Ulrich Rüdiger, the focus of the event is on the review of the past academic year. Thus, the dean and dean of studies will present their annual reports, as well as a representive of the student council will convey the students’ view.
In an inaugural lecture by Professor Peter Knott and a guest talk by Dr. Jo De Boeck, deep insights into research areas of our faculty and interesting developments in electrical engineering and information technology are given.
Another highlight of the Day of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology is the awarding of outstanding students of our faculty.

so if you are interested in, feel free to come.
